Hegias Navigator

As part of my work at Hegias, I implemented and designed the core systems of an Unreal Engine-based real-time renderer. This included building the player system, all camera interactions, inputs (touch and keyboard), and the general app setup, which served as the foundation for the application. One of the most complex features I developed was the Cesium integration. I designed a workflow that allowed users to control cutouts, placements, and other Cesium options in real-time. I was responsible for implementing and testing all Cesium functionalities, as well as developing the associated logic and designs. I also worked on the user interface (UI) and interactions within the Unreal app. This involved creating a seamless experience for users, covering both touch and keyboard inputs, as well as camera controls and front-end UI components. Additionally, I implemented the communication between the front end and the Unreal app, setting up command-based logic for player settings, app configurations, screenshots, and other interactions. Beyond these core tasks, I contributed to features like real-time loading of objects, visual updates, and improving loading times to enhance performance across different devices.
